For 2009, Acorn intends to focus its resources on the development of its lead technology,

T-Fusion™ an oral delivery platform technology for recombinant protein therapeutics and lead product, ACN-8337 an orally available human granulocyte-colony stimulating factor for the treatment of neutropenia. 

Acorn believes there are a number of opportunities upon which the T-Fusion™ technology may be applicable to, in addition to ACN-8337, and the Company plans to evaluate and move forward with the most promising recombinant therapeutic protein candidates.

Additionally, Acorn plans to focus development efforts on its most recently licensed compound, ACN-1052, a novel small molecule for the treatment of glaucoma.

Acorn is currently engaged in preliminary discussions for other drug candidates with the medical research departments at various prestigious universities and private institutions worldwide.
